Whether you have a knack for organization, love interacting with the community, or simply want to lend a helping hand, we have a spot for you. By signing up, you'll have the chance to contribute to various aspects of the event, from early preparations in the weeks leading up to the big day, to pivotal roles during the event itself.

Volunteer Opportunities at the Spring Fling:

​

• Community Donation Ambassadors: Reach out to local businesses to secure donations such as gift cards, merchandise, and other items for our raffles and prizes. This role involves promoting the event within the community, explaining the benefits of donations to potential sponsors, and collecting the donated items.

• Pre-Event Organization: Help with planning, coordinating vendors, and preparing materials in the weeks leading up to the event.

• Game Station Management: Oversee fun games and activities, ensuring participants enjoy themselves and everything runs smoothly.

• Ticket Checking at the Front Gate: Welcome guests, verify tickets, and provide wristbands or hand stamps for entry.

• Photo Booth Operation: Manage the photo booth, assist with props, and ensure guests capture memorable moments.

• Food and Beverage Stations: Serve refreshments, manage lines, and maintain a clean eating area.

• Raffle Ticket Sales: Encourage raffle ticket purchases, manage the ticket booth, and assist with prize distribution.

• Information Desk: Provide event information, assist with lost and found items, and help guests navigate the event.

• Setup and Breakdown Crew: Assist with setting up before the event starts and with cleanup and breakdown after the event concludes.

• Face Painting: Offer creative face painting designs for children and interested adults.

• Music and Entertainment Coordination: Assist with the setup of musical equipment, coordinate performance schedules, and ensure entertainers have what they need.

• Vendor Liaison: Support vendors with setup, answer their questions, and ensure they have a successful experience at the event.

• Safety and First Aid: Be on standby to provide basic first aid and ensure the safety of all attendees.

• Crafts and Educational Activities: Lead or assist with crafts and educational stations, providing engaging learning experiences for children.

• Environmental Sustainability Efforts: Help with recycling and waste management efforts to keep the event green and clean.

 

After signing up, a member of our Parent Association will reach out to you with more details and to discuss your preferred volunteer role. This is a fantastic way to get involved, meet new people, and support the enriching experiences we strive to provide for our children at Charles Towne Montessori.
