Annual
fund-raising information
This
year Charles Towne Montessori School students and their
families will have three opportunities to fulfill their
annual fund-raising obligation of $150 per child. School
fund-raisers can be fun for everyone, so get the whole
family involved.
Funds
generated through financial giving and fund-raising
are very important to support our school's programs,
goals and mission. Traditionally all funds raised provide
the sole funding for our tuition assistance program,
and special designated projects.
- Sally
Foster sale. The first fund-raiser this year was
the Sally Foster Sale during which you were able to
buy wrapping paper and other holiday items. The school
receives half of the sales of these items.
- Poinsettia
sale. The second fund-raiser this year will be
the Holiday Poinsettia Sale beginning on Wednesday,
November 1st. Order forms are due back to the school
on Monday, November 13th. These beautiful and large
flowers make decorating for the holidays easy.
- Auction.
The third fund-raiser this year will be an event similar
to the Art Auction we had last year. This will be
an adult evening of good food, and great entertainment
scheduled for Saturday, March 1, at the Charleston
Visitors' Center.
This event is a fun way to be involved in Charles
Towne Montessori School fundraising as the planning
and preparation go on year round. Parents and many
area businesses will be donating goods and services
to be auctioned. Best of all, each class donates a
beautiful class project, lovingly created by your
children. These projects are our most desired items
and the biggest money-makers of the evening!
Other
fund-raising opportunities
- Publix.
Present your Publix Partners Card to the cashier at
any Publix nationwide and Charles Towne Montessori
School will receive a percentage of every sale. If
you have misplaced your cards or need extra cards
to share with family members or friends, stop by the
office to pick one up.
- Harris
Teeter. You may also register your Harris Teeter
VIC Card at the customer service desk to the number
3876. Harris Teeter will then give a percentage of
every sale to Charles Towne Montessori School. VIC
cards can also be registered online at Harristeeter.com
- SCRIP
Program.
