tips for practical life at home
Parents
often have questions about ways to incorporate Montessori
training into home life. Primary teacher Jennifer Cerny
offers these helpful practical life guidelines:
Annual
fundraising information
School
fundraisers can be fun for everyone, so get the whole
family involved. Funds
generated through financial giving and fund-raising
are very important to support our school's programs,
goals and mission. Traditionally all funds raised provide
the sole funding for our tuition assistance program,
and special designated projects.
- Fall
festival. Parents
of CTM children are planning an exciting fall festival.

- Auction.
The biggest fund-raiser of the year is our annual
silent auction held each spring. It is an an adult
evening of good food, and great entertainment. This
event is a fun way to be involved in Charles Towne
Montessori School fundraising as the planning and
preparation go on year round. Parents and many area
businesses will be donating goods and services to
be auctioned. Best of all, each class donates a beautiful
class project, lovingly created by your children.
These projects are our most desired items and the
biggest money-makers of the evening!
Other
fund-raising opportunities
- Publix.
Present your Publix Partners Card to the cashier at
any Publix nationwide and Charles Towne Montessori
School will receive a percentage of every sale. If
you have misplaced your cards or need extra cards
to share with family members or friends, stop by the
office to pick one up.
- Harris
Teeter. You may also register your Harris Teeter
VIC Card at the customer service desk to the number
3876. Harris Teeter will then give a percentage of
every sale to Charles Towne Montessori School. VIC
cards can also be registered online at Harristeeter.com
- SCRIP
Program.
