Resident artist Jaycie Rappold to teach Jackson Pollock — Hands on!!
OCT. 25, 2012 — Elementary students at Charles Towne Montessori will trade khaki and blue for some “get dirty” clothes on Thursday to experience first-hand the painting style of artist Jackson Pollock. Artist in residence and former School of the Arts instructor, Jaycie Rappold will lead the class in a lesson about Pollock’s life and his art. Charles Towne Montessori will host its fifth annual Open House/Fall Festival Event on Saturday, Nov. 10. Visit the school from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. for a tour and information about our programs. The Festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with games, food, jump castles, prizes, cake walk, live music, face painting, crafts and vendors.
